What a horrible week for you and your family. So many emotions and not much of the good kind. I'm so sorry to hear about Jett. You are a stronger woman than I to be able to foster seniors knowing that your time with the little ones probably won't be very long. I'm grateful for people like you, but I do hope you'll adopt a younger and healthier rescuer next time because you need a break. And that's tough news about your daughter, too. I thought she was getting married a few years ago, but this doesn't sound like a fiancé situation. Very big hugs to both of you 😿

Just loved this … every word , every memory and even the sad stuff ( I’m still feeling ) aren’t we lucky to live and feel ? The alternative.. well never mind ❤️❤️

People's nastiness is inexcusable. Thanks for writing about it. I live in fear of needing an emergency vet appointment. I'm so sorry about your sweet Jett, but glad you rescue dogs. Beautiful essay.
