Well said, and indeed a sad state of affairs, Beth. Currently working on my "exit plan" from life with the littles. Granted the only way to really make money in child care is to do it in your home (what I've done) or be a center director, but even so, after 10+ years, I. Am. Done. And agreed, entrance exams for five year olds should NOT be a thing.
